Princess Tea Party

Posted by PicasaOne of Emma's favorite things to do is have a tea party. She wanted to have one, but said we needed to have a prince or 2. So we secretly made invitations one day while Gavin was at baseball camp and Daddy was at work. She ran outside and put them in the mail box for the boys to find. While they were checking the mail, we were waiting in the house with their suit jackets. (You have to be in costume to attend one of Princess Emma's Tea party's!) We had the best time! I look forward to many more tea party's!

Dance Recital Day

Posted by PicasaEmma had a Blast at her first dance recital! She looked so beautiful. She was so excited because she got to wear "mommy lipstick and eye stuff!" Our little princess is growing up soo
fast. I call her "my baby girl" sometimes, and she tells me "Momma, I'm not a baby, I'm a big girl!" I quickly remind her that she will always be my baby girl.

Well the regular season of Mudcat baseball is over and we finished 7th. We are now in the tournament and we have won our first two games and are two games away from the championship game. Gavin plays coach pitch baseball, and in case you were wondering, he plays for the Mudcats. He plays short stop and pitcher and has really become a pretty good little baseball player. He makes his Mommy and Daddy and Emma proud. Well hopefully we continue our winning ways and make it to the championship, if not, then that will be just fine too!

Our Little Dancer

Emma started dance classes last August and LOVES it! She is way more girly than I ever was when I was younger! I can't even remember wearing dresses when I was little, much less a tutu. Dance was the first thing Emma was old enough to do since you have to be at least 4 to do most sports. She treks along to all of Gavin's baseball, soccer, football, basketball games- so she is looking forward to her recital in May and hopes that everyone can come watch her! She will be the most beautiful dancer there!

Good Times

This is from the Polar Express before Christmas. But it is one of my favorite pictures of our family. Holidays are so much fun now, with the kids. I am fixing to really get going on this blog, so be watching and enjoy. This is also a test of my photo adding skills prior to going live with all the cool stuff on this blog. Have a good one.

Grand Opening

After requests from friends and relatives to get a family site started, we have finally given in, and decided to join the age of blogging. It is with some reluctance, (due to our busy schedule) and yet great joy that we have decided to make our lives more accessible to all of those who are interested in knowing more about us and sharing in the adventures that our world offers. We enjoy doing things a little out of the ordinary and we plan for this site to be no different. We hope you enjoy!!

We are the Wade Family; Josh, Jennifer, Gavin (or Gabin according to Emma), and of course Emma. We also have two dogs, Dallas and Brinkley who keep our kids entertained and our yard fertilized. We are a regular young family that likes to have fun and enjoys being with each other and experiencing life together.

Gavin is our 6 year old and he is way to big for our liking. He is about to finish kindergarten and he already knows how to read!! It is amazing how smart he is and how quick he is to pick things up. He is also quite the athlete. We are just about to start baseball and just finished basketball, but he also enjoys soccer and anything else that involves running until you drop. He is really growing into a fine young man and he makes us proud everyday. He is a great big brother, and he really takes good care of his sister. They are each other's best friend.

Emma is our 3 year old and she is all emotion. She is either the happiest little girl, or the saddest little girl, or the sweetest little girl, or the rottenest little girl. Ha! She lights up a room with her smile and overflowing love for people. She loves Princess stuff and can name every princess ever to star in a Disney movie. LOL!! She loves to dress up in her princess costumes and her Daddy and her Bubba are her Prince Charmings. Her Mommy is her hero and there is nothing that Mommy can't do, or problem that Mommy can't make better.

We have truly been blessed by God with a healthy and happy family. We appreciate all the gifts that we have been given and hope that you find some joy in sharing the stories of our lives with us. There are plenty of funny stories and epic battles of wit between parent and child that keep us entertained, and we hope that by sharing these with you that might have a laugh as well. We will try to keep this up to date and as we get more aqcuainted with the site we will add more features and try to make it "PERTY". Anyways, stay tuned and enjoy.
