Our baby is a month old...

I just love this little girl soo much, even at 3 am!
What she's up to:
-Eats every 2 1/2 to 3 hours

- Wears newborn diapers

-Wears Newborn Sleepers, and 0-3 months sleepers

-She weighs a little over 8 lbs

- Loves to be held, and to be rocked

- You try to use your pacifier, even though you are not very good at it!

- Don't really enjoy your swing

- You like your bouncer, especially when it's vibrating

- You hold your head up VERY good for your age, but you HATE tummy time

- Love when Gavin and Emma talk to you

Turning one week old

Reese Avery Wade
1 week old

Gavin was always such a good baby. Only cried when he needed something, slept good and liked everyone. We figured since he was so good that we wouldnt be so lucky with Emma. Then she came along and was a better sleeper than he was! She was always so happy, always smiling! When we found out we were pregnant with Reese, we knew there was no way we would be lucky enough to have 3 great babies! Reese has definitely surprised us! She rarely cries and is VERY tolerant of 2, sometimes not so gentle big siblings. She LOVES to be close and to cuddle! Whether its holding her, laying with her, or just sitting close to her- she's not picky. God has definitely blessed us, thats for sure! (Now teenage years might be a whole different story! Lets hope not!)

Reese's First Christmas

Gavin 7 years, Emma 5 years, Reese 7 days old

Our Precious Reese

Our precious Reese was born on December 18, 2010! She was the best Christmas present we could have ever asked for. She weighed 8lb 3oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. Gavin and Emma love having a baby sister and they have been the best siblings! They love to help take care of her. Emma loves to pick out her clothes every day! She is a huge help to me while Gavin is in school and Josh is at work. Gavin's favorite thing to do is to hold her. He doesn't quite understand why we won't let him carry her all around the house. We have been trying to hibernate at home so that she doesn't get sick during flu season. She still managed to come down with RSV, and so we had a rough few days of taking turns sleeping with her in the chair. She will be 11 weeks old this Saturday. Josh and I are going to attempt to do a much better job at updating our blog. More pics of the family to come!!!

Princess Tea Party

One of Emma's favorite things to do is have a tea party. She wanted to have one, but said we needed to have a prince or 2. So we secretly made invitations one day while Gavin was at baseball camp and Daddy was at work. She ran outside and put them in the mail box for the boys to find. While they were checking the mail, we were waiting in the house with their suit jackets. (You have to be in costume to attend one of Princess Emma's Tea party's!) We had the best time! I look forward to many more tea party's!

Dance Recital Day

Emma had a Blast at her first dance recital! She looked so beautiful. She was so excited because she got to wear "mommy lipstick and eye stuff!" Our little princess is growing up soo

fast. I call her "my baby girl" sometimes, and she tells me "Momma, I'm not a baby, I'm a big girl!" I quickly remind her that she will always be my baby girl.

Well the regular season of Mudcat baseball is over and we finished 7th. We are now in the tournament and we have won our first two games and are two games away from the championship game. Gavin plays coach pitch baseball, and in case you were wondering, he plays for the Mudcats. He plays short stop and pitcher and has really become a pretty good little baseball player. He makes his Mommy and Daddy and Emma proud. Well hopefully we continue our winning ways and make it to the championship, if not, then that will be just fine too!
